| ALL PURPOSE ANIMAL CUSHION | |||
![]() | Cushions are custom sewn from either cotton/cotton blend polyester material or from all flannelette, are approximately 20 inches by 26 inches in size, and suit a variety of uses. For cats and dogs, they make excellent padding for carriers. They are also good as stand alone cushions for couches, chairs, or even on the floor, wherever your pets prefer to sleep. In veterinary clinics, these cushions make superior padding for holding cages, and provide excellent rebound body heat especially when animals come out of surgery, and need extra warmth. |

| MICE FOR RAPTORS | |||
![]() | Overwintering raptors is especially difficult, since most do not naturally remain here during the coldest parts of the year. Often, late fall injuries make it impossible for them to be released before winter. It takes approximately 4 to 6 mice a day, to keep these fellows strong enough to survive our climate. Your donation of $25 will provide enought mice to feed one raptor for one week. Should you choose to donate in someone else's name, we do send out gift cards. One gift card per weekly unit. |

| BEEF HEART | |||
![]() | As an extra treat, especially in cold weather, our raptors get warmed beef heart, injected with vitamin supplements to help maintain their body condition. Unfortunately, beef heart seems in great demand these days, and so like everything else, the price has naturally gone way up. One large beef heart can provide extra feed for one raptor for 2 weeks. Should you decide to donate this special gift, one gift card will be sent out per heart. |

| SONGBIRD SEED | |||
![]() | Every year we see small birds that freeze to death when the weather gets very cold. If rescued, these birds do warm up and usually, do survive. They are often in starvation conditions, and so remain with us over the winter. It takes only one bag of birdseed to keep one of these tiny feathered creatures happy for 6 months. Should you decide to donate this special gift to the smallest of birds, a gift card will be sent to you to forward, should you so desire. |

| WINTER FEEDING PROGRAM | |||
![]() | Winter is a very stressful time for wild birds. In addition to having extreme weather to cope with, food is very difficult to find, and so many perish. Here at Sunexotics, we maintain a winter feeding program for any and all of the birds who choose to remain in this area, many of whom are birds we have released in previous years, or even their offspring. Your $40 donation allows us to buy bird food of all kinds in bulk, so that we can maintain our program in full swing. |

| RAPTOR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM | ||||
![]() ![]() ![]() | Each year we see raptors that get hurt very late in the fall, and because there just isn't enough time to get them back to the wild in top form before the winter weather sets in, we do maintain them here, for spring release. Once you sponsor a bird, you receive a photo of the bird you are sponsoring, as well as a certificate of sponsorship. You also receive a writeup of his story--how he got here, what medical issues he had or is having, and descriptions of his unique character and habits--in short, his journey through our facility. If the sponsored bird is deemed releasable, you also receive notification when your sponsored bird is to be released in the spring, and are invited to attend the release ceremony. This year, we have 3 red tailed hawks looking for sponsors--Merlin, Mistral, and Wiz. Wiz will not be releasable, but will spend her time living with us. Please specify which one you would like to sponsor. |
